About

I attended undergraduate at Vassar College majoring in Astronomy and Computer Science. There, I worked at the Class of 1951 Observatory measuring light curves for potential transiting exoplanets. My senior thesis used spectral data from CO emission lines in protoplanetary disks to measure variability in physical properties.

After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I worked for three and a half years at Epic Systems providing analytics for health systems in value-based contracts. I primarily worked on our library of clinical quality measure calculations and supporting peripheries like our data ingestion and standardization engine. I worked with many different teams across Epic to ensure we used all of the available internal and external data to provide accurate calculations on a population-level. We surfaced actionable insights to improve medication adherence, preventive screening rates, immunization schedules, and management of complex or chronic diseases.

Since leaving Epic, I’ve been taking on the Apple Vision Pro platform. Virtual and mixed reality have always intrigued me, and I am betting that spatial computing will keep becoming more commonplace for consumer and enterprise audiences.
